Best faction in Third Age MOS? Not just most powerful, but also most fun, dynamic units, most challenging and the one you had most fun playing. My first was Mordor (most powerful blah blah) but it was just amazing with Witch-king, and when Sauron returned just too much Isengard is up there, managed to make Rohan a vassal with one settlement above Gondor, only general was Theoden. They went
Condoning the invasion of Sicily was only the beginning for the Papacy's support of the Normans. The sheer presence of Rome midway along the Apennine peninsula now serves as a sturdy political shield from the continental powers to the north. It's a barrier that looks likely to hold so long as the Catholic lords all remain faithful to the Papacy
Spear Militia – 4. Town Militia – 3. Mailed Knights – 1. Peasant Archers – 4. Spain start with two of the eight settlements on the Iberian Peninsula. The first priority will be a race for the two rebel settlements, although Valencia is very well defended so ensure you have siege equipment. If Portugal attack you, then destroy them, but
The only three things which counter this AI behaviour are; marriage alliance. gifting gold. killing/sacking the AI's enemies. Generally, the Catholic factions are the strongest all around, they have the best heavy cavalry and heavy infantry, as well as longbows and pavise crossbowmen. Their strength varies, such as Poland having great cav but weak foot units, or Denmark having great infantry, decent cav and ok range.
A Medieval Mod: 1191 standalone: -Full list of features in the description. -Better ai both campaign and battle. -new units all around even from previous versions. -new interactive events such as traveling mercenaries. -Merchants are back but very limited, as with limited priests. -Religion now plays a bigger role in the order of your cities.
Re: Teutonic Campaign: The Teutonic Order. The Teutons are an interesting faction because they are not a true kingdom in any sense. Thus, they rely on generals with the leader chosen by them and do not have any sons or princesses. The Teutons rely heavily on heavy infantry and cavalry so war against the eastern factions can be troublesome as
Re: Guide to building a stable economy in Medieval 2: Total War. 1) When starting with a new faction, hit ~ and type "toggle_fow", select your merchant and have a look around to see what the various resources are worth to your faction.
